Creators of Redesigned Rock. Originally from Thunder Bay, Canada, Sunday Night Cruise relocated to Winnipeg in the fall of 2003 to produce their first album. ICONFLICT is a collection of songs written about the human condition and the things we think in our heads but may never say. From the first track "The Terrorist" the mood of the album is set: bold and pleading rock laced with edgy rap that probes the listener to ask the deeper questions about giving, God, promises, trials spent alone and even a night on the town. While there is no denying the band's underlying faith and conviction on this record, both the lyrical content and classically-influenced music transcend spiritual borders in a way that is very accessible. This is largely a result of the band members' histories. Stamler is classically trained on the piano and Janzen and Woods have a wealth of production experience from previous bands. The band is preparing their second independent release for April 2007 and currently spends the bulk of its time working to remedy the massive social and economic injustice of twenty-first century earth. Sunday Night Cruise is: Janzen - bass Niskanen - guitars Stamler - drums, programming, backup vocals Woods - lead vocals Show Pictures |
