EVENT LISTING GUIDLINES

The events listed on TBshows must consist of LIVE entertainment. This includes but is not limited to concerts, festivals, comedy shows, live theatre, special events and more. When submitting your information, please provide as much detail as possible. If you are uncertain if your event qualifies, please contact us for assistance by using our Contact page.

TBshows is also in the process of compiling a resource of all the Open Mic, Karaoke and other recurring weekly events at different establishments across the city. For your convenience this directory will be kept separate from the existing show listings.

The following is a step-by-step tutorial on how to add a show to TBshows.com.

Go to www.TBshows.com. On the navigation bar located just below the TBshows logo, click SHOWS. A drop down menu will appear. Click ADD A SHOW. A series of fields will appear. Complete all the applicable sections.

TITLE

Fill in the title of your show. This will appear as the heading for your show once approved.

DATE

Fill in the date and time that your event will start. If your event will be taking place over several days (ie – a weekend festival, or a show with multiple performance dates), click ADD ANOTHER ITEM and complete the date/time information for the next date. Repeat for each addition date.

ENDING DATE

For single-date events ending after midnight use the fields provided under END TIME only.

For single or multi-date events ending before midnight, and multi-date events ending after midnight check the box next to SHOW END DATE and fill in the appropriate time fields.

VENUE

Search through the venue list to find the hosting venue for your event. If the venue does not show up type in the venue name below in the OTHER VENUE field. If your event is taking place at multiple venues, click ADD ANOTHER ITEM and repeat the above for each additional venue.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Choose the best age restriction for your show (All ages, 16+, 18+, 19+, and 25+). If you are unsure of the restrictions, please contact the venue to find out.

PRICE

Choose the admission price / cover charge for the event. Make sure to include a dollar sign ($) before the amount. If there’s one price for advanced tickets and another price at the door, please use this format:  $10 Adv - $15 Door. If there are multiple price options, start with the lowest to the highest (ie $10 - $25) and include more details about each price range in the DETAILS section below.

BUY TICKETS ONLINE

Enter the website address (URL) where people can buy tickets online for your event (if applicable). Make sure your link begins with “http://” or “https://”.

BAND / PERFORMERS

Begin by typing the name of the first band / performer that will be playing at your event. If the band / performer is listed in our database, our system will auto-complete the entry. Repeat this process for each additional band / performer by clicking ADD ANOTHER ITEM.

If the name does not auto-complete, please type in the full band / performer name in OTHER BANDS / PERFORMERS below. Use one line per additional band / performer.

FACEBOOK EVENT LINK

Input the Facebook event page address (URL), if available. Make sure your link begins with “https://”.

DETAILS

Here is where you can post any additional information about the event and / or go into greater details with the information you’ve already posted above.

CONTACT INFO

Here you must post your name, contact email and/or phone number. This information will only be used in the event that we need to contact you for more details about your event. It will not be shared, sold, or made public in anyway.

POSTER

If you have a poster for your event, click BROWSE and select the file from your computer. Then click UPLOAD. The file must be less than 10MB and in a png / gif / jpg / jpeg format. Other formats may not upload properly.

Note - Posters must include the date of the event, the venue name, and the performers (1 minimum).

CAPTCHA

This question is for testing whether or not you are a human visitor and to prevent automated spam submissions.
 
 

When you completed all the application sections, click PREVIEW to review for accuracy, spelling/grammar etc. Once everything looks good, click SAVE.

After your show is submitted, a member of our team has to approve it before it goes live on TBshows. We review it for content, accuracy and profanity, at which point it will be added to the live calendar. While we pride ourselves on being prompt, please allow up to 2 business days after the show has been submitted for it to go live.

If you see a mistake uploading your show, or notice someone else has, please let us know by sending us a message through the Contact page. You can also request an update on the show’s page by clicking the link at the bottom of every show page once it’s been approved. Please be sure to include the name and date of the event that requires updating.
