ody Allen has been called one of Canada’s best unsigned singer/songwriters. With a 12-string acoustic guitar and an unforgettable voice Cody is sure to catch your attention the minute he steps onto the stage.

Over the past year he has performed with Faber Drive, Hello Operator, Pat Robitaille, Suzie McNeil, Trooper, Rides Again, Jaydee Bixby, David Wilcox and Colin James.

Cody's voice has been compared to Raine Maida from Our Lady Peace, however, still proving himself as a remarkable songwriter with soul & originality. His lyrics are unique and memorable, full of feeling and insight. His songs gently distort the world and makes us hear it in a new way. Cody and his band (Elvis Behm – bass, Kris Brown – drums); have the ability to draw any audience into the music.

Recorded in the dead of winter with producer Justin Koop, (Tomi Swick, Silverstein, Billy Talent, St. Alvia Cartel, Finger Eleven) "We Know How To Love" best captures the elements of the band's powerful live performances. This record has been described as Cody Allen’s best work to date. We Know How To Love is a collection of original themes and multiple genres, full of infectious hooks and memorable lyrics. With a very mature sound, the record is catching the attention of many fans across the country.

Cody has prepared himself to become a force to be recon within the Canadian music industry. The new album is now available through HMV, iTunes, Amazon.ca, Puretracks, Chapters and the official website. Check out Cody Allen & his band on tour this summer.
