In 1997 Matt Bressmer moved to Thunder Bay and began his body piercing apprenticeship with Ian Wright at Classic Body Piercing. Five years later with TV documentaries, newspaper articles, infection control seminars and numerous collaborations with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit under his belt, Matt Bressmer opened his own studio.

In September of 2005, Amy Bidwell moved to Thunder Bay to apprentice under Matt Bressmer. After 12 months of extensive training and completing the blood borne pathogens course, Amy is now piercing alongside Matt at Creation Body Piercing.

Creation Body Piercing has been health board certified from 1995 to current day. All piercers are OSHA certified in infection control. Creation Body Piercing uses the highest quality of implant grade jewelry in Northern Ontario (either 316LVM surgical stainless steel or implant-grade titanium.) Freezing is offered for most piercings and detailed after-care instructions are offered after every piercing.

Now in their new expanded location (240 Red River Road), Creation Body Piercing offers all types of body mod supplies.
