Ok Thunder Bay here it comes a little sooner than anticipated but we’re going roll with it. 8-OH-7 proudly presents the 90 Second Ironman Freestyle Competition! First off this an open invitation to all local emcees or anybody who thinks they can freestyle! The concept is quite simple. We are looking to get 16 competitors on this event to compete in the freestyle competition. How it will work is there will be four rounds! Each of you will get 90 seconds to spit off the top freestyle and have your chance to impress the judges. Then after the judges deliberate the top 8 will go on to the second round and be given another 90 seconds to spit there best freestyle. From there the top 4 will go on to the next round and finally the top 2 will compete in the final round to find a Winner and be the last man standing and be crowned the ultimate freestyle Champion. Unlike a rap battle you are not directly competing head to head against an opponent but you are playing survival of the fittest and you are to try and last in the competition as long as you can. That is why it’s titled The Ironman Freestyle Competition. So let’s see who can push themselves to the end! On top of that I am looking for a couple performers wanting to do live sets in between rounds you may also be in the competition. Hope to see y’all out there. First place will win a cash prize!
