Jon Lajoie is a Canadian comedian, actor,and internet celebrity from Montreal, Quebec, Canada who gained a substantial cult following for his comical Internet video clips in 2008.Many of his videos have been viewed several million times, including Everyday Normal Guy and High as F#%k. Born and raised in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, Lajoie graduated from Dawson College’s theatre program in 2001. Since 2002, he has acted as an anglophone musician named Thomas Edison in Radio-Canada’s francophone soap opera L’auberge du chien noir
During a radio interview with Christiane Charette for Première Chaîne, Lajoie stated that Will Ferrell and Adam McKay (head writer at Saturday Night Live for five years), part owners of funnyordie.com, admitted to being big fans of his work during his recent trip in Los Angeles, California where he had a chance to personally meet McKay.
