Jay Bly aka Komp from Halifax, Nova Scotia just came off a huge battle when he took on Smoked Out Battles League champ DP The Mercenary David White at the 3 year anniversary unfortunately he didn’t have enough to take the W in that bout as DP won unanimous decision, but he’s coming back fresh to take on……Jeff Brown aka Rezza Reckt from Edmonton, Alberta he is a King Of The Dot Entertainment GZ Battles (Ground Zero) / Smoked Out Battles / Western Canada battle rap vet he has been around and has proven his skills both in the pit and on the Mic. Rezza Reckt’s last battle was against former Smoked Out Battle League Champ Steven Pepper aka StevieP was a dope battle but Rezza Reckt took it with a 4-1 decision. This bout is set to be a true EAST VS WEST showdown and Smoked Out Battles – Thunder Bay is honoured to be hosting it!

Co main event that had been leaked first from this event is Thunder Bay local / Mic Fights Champ Drop D will be going up against 1 of the owners of Rip The Script Battles from Winnipeg , as well one of the guys pushing the Smoked Out movement in his city from Winnipeg 1/2 of ILL MUSIC ONLY MC Rush.Both these battlers are coming off of losing streaks as MC Rush lost his last few as well since Drop D won the Mic Fights Championship and stepped away from that league to battle he has won 1 (LT Tha Beast) as well lost his last 2 ( Harsh One , Venable )

This battle was set for Smoked Out Battles – Thunder Bay Valentine’s Massacre 2 but unfortunately O.Z could not make it, so we had to rebook this up and comer battle that is set to be a slugfest.O.Z has been around the battle scene in Thunder Bay, Ontario for a little while poppin up here and there on different cards, but as of lately he is taking battling more serious and it has been showing with his Smoked Out Battles League debut 3-0 win against Shabro The Sheriff.Mighty Big Bird is new to the scene but in the same moment he stepped on the scene he left his mark , and is more then ready to show the battle scene and Smoked Out Battles League what he’s got to bring as his first bout was postponed with O.Z until this event. Although he didn’t get to do his debut battle he still battled as he stepped in the freestyle competition we had and quickly showed everyone he is a heavy weight in real life and on the Mic. We are excited for this young up and comer slug fest and I hope you all are too!!

Jae Royale has been a name around the NW Ontario hip hop scene for some time , and has battled in leagues such as 807 BG , Mic Fights , Smoked Out, Rip the Script Winnipeg . He has been battling for some time and has proven he’s a veteran around his scene it should be interesting when he goes up against this cocky young gun new comer with a attitude from Winnipeg MB DM The Dragon.DM is new to battling with his debut win in Rip the script he has trash talked everyone and anyone with his confidence and his gun referenced street style I wonder if he has what it takes to get the W against a seasoned vet in the veterans backyard.
