Black Deeds in Whitehorse: Trapped in the Yukon – A Melodrama

Mile Hill Melodrama presents a youth production of "Black Deeds in Whitehorse or Trapped in the Yukon" We are trying something a little different this production. As you all know we are not getting any younger so are trying to inject some new youthful blood and talent into our menage.This play is one we did in 1996 and is being put on by our new Youth Group, ages 10-15 years old. This production is being jointly directed by Cindy Lankinen and Nigel Jackson. It is a true Boo/Hiss/Cheer Melodrama with the requisite villain, hero and damsel in distress, as well as many other colourful characters. Performance Dates:December 7 & 8 at 8:00 p.m. December 9 at 2:00 p.m. All performances remain at $12. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, November 13 at 9:00 a.m. through e-mail request or by calling Sharon at 577-1091.As always, no advance reservations are accepted by phone or e-mail.

Hymers Fair FunRaiser

Gillies Community Centre 1835 Hwy 595, South Gillies, ON, Canada

Come on out to a night of wonderful live music in support of the Hymer's Fair!! This 'FUN' raiser is to help make improvements to the small animal shelters. Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be on hand for this $CASH$ only event. Lots of fun for the whole family! Admission is by donation (5$ suggested per adult, 1$per child)

Bring the whole family to be dazzled with LIVE local music and snacks with your neighbours!We have exciting talent featuring Larry Hogard, The Shenanigans (Stephanie Reid & Jessica Durand), the Mike Gushulak-Dave Dowhos duo, and more!
Admission is pay-what-you-can, but it's a fundraiser, so we suggest $5/person. Come raise the roof to build a roof (for the small animals at the Hymers Fair)! The popcorn machine will be running. Non-alcoholic bevvies available.
