Join the TBSO for a fun and relaxed evening of music as we close out our season! Enjoy some local brews from Sleeping Giant Brewing and local band Kutch in the unique environment of the O’Kelly Armoury. What better way to spend a Saturday than hanging out with friends while listening to great music? We’re thrilled to be able to host this event for the first time in two years!

Yes, the TBSO will play Beethoven’s 7th! There will only be two more B&Bs after this one (we’ll be ending with Beethoven’s 9th). So this year we’re planning to dial up the energy to get you up dancing! And don’t forget, we’ll have the best craft beer in the city on tap — and a special custom brew just for the evening! Roll over, Beethoven. We don’t call it Brew & Beethoven for nothing.

Brew and Beethoven- Orchestrating Five years of Brew & Beethoven
2017 marks the 5th anniversary of Brew and Beethoven in Thunder Bay (Beethoven's Fifth—ha hah ha!!)
Enjoy a tall cold one while listening to the TBSO perform works ranging from Beethoven to John Williams. Presented in a unique casual atmosphere, B&B is your chance to hear the musicians up close and personal. We are looking forward to enjoying a specially brewed beer from Sleeping Giant Brewing Co for this event. We also appreciate Thunder Bay Transit providing our guests with free rides to and from the event – just show your ticket to the driver! Special guest artists, Hunt and Gather, will also join the Symphony for a few tunes. This event has sold out every year, so book your tickets early!

Local brewing company, Sleeping Giant Brewing Co., will be selling a variety of their beers. Your entrance ticket is provides your first beer of the evening for free!
Musical Guest Artist – Thunder Bay’s Jean-Paul De Roover hits the stage at this year’s Brew & Beethoven, alongside the TBSO and Conductor-in-Residence Jean-Michel Malouf.
Ticket to Ride - City of Thunder Bay Transit and the TBSO have partnered to allow Brew & Beethoven ticket holders to ride Transit for free starting at 4pm until end of service on April 2nd. Plan your trip at www.tbtransit.ca.
A Night Out With Beethoven - Show your 2016 Brew & Beethoven ticket at select businesses on April 2nd for great deals before and/or after the event. For a list of participating businesses visit www.tbso.ca.

The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra’s popular Brew & Beethoven returns for its third year! Enjoy a cold one while listening to the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra perform works ranging from Beethoven to John Williams. Presented in a unique casual atmosphere, B&B is your chance to hear the musicians up close and personal. Funds raised at this event support the TBSO’s Youth & Education programs.
This event will take place Saturday, March 28 at the O’Kelly Armoury, 317 Park Avenue, with doors opening at 7pm and the concert starting at 8pm. Minimum age requirement: 19 years
Highlights include:
Local brewing company, Sleeping Giant Brewing Co., will be selling 5 beer varieties – Beaver Duck APA, Beethoven’s 3rd Scottish Ale, Elevator Ale, Northern Logger, and Skull Rock Stout. Your entrance ticket is also your Beer Passport, which lets you taste up to three of the beers available that evening.
Musical Guest Artist – Thunder Bay’s The Greenbank Trio, hits the stage at this event, and guest conductor Jeff Christmas the TBSO.
