Lakehead University students and the Thunder Bay community will gather together in celebration of Indigenous culture and dance.Warm-ups will be held on Friday, March 8 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Grand Entry is scheduled for 1 pm and 6 pm on Saturday, March 9 with a Traditional Feast being served at 5:00 pm and the powwow will wrap up for the day at 9:00 pm. This familiar tale is being conveyed in a new way and draws visual inspiration from the work of the late Marianne Wahl, a Cambrian Players Distinguished Service Award Recipient who designed Cambrian's staging of The Snow Queen in the 1980s.
